Introduction
The United Nations is an organization made up of countries from all around the world to discuss on the world's issues. The UN was created after World War II in order to prevent another war. The countries that have won World War II would become the "big 5" which are: United States of America, United Kingdom, Russia, China, and France; the permanent members of the UN.

Most Useful Link
The most useful link I found was from Refworld. Click here to see it.
This article was useful to me because it contained a lot of information about the mental health issues in Honduras. I found this article by searching up, mental health system in Honduras. The most important piece of information I found was that there were only two psychiatric hospitals in the country.

My classmate Nic gave me useful critique on the wording of my position paper; if I used the word I he would tell me to switch it to saying Honduras. I also needed help on how I should cite my resources, so I asked my teacher and he showed me this really useful and simple website. That helped my position paper become more professional.

Opening Speech

When I first presented my speech to my peers, my timing was at 1:40 seconds which is way over the time limit which was 50-60 seconds. I had to make my speech shorter; so what I did was cut some paragraphs off and focus on the big and general topics. The critique I received were all so general so I didn't get anything out of it, only thing I knew was to just make it shorter. After experiencing MUN, I still wouldn't change anything about my speech.

Reflection
In this project, I am most proud of my research I conducted because Honduras is a small country and there wasn't as much information about it. After spending a lot of time, I got a good amount of articles and data on my country. I am proud of my committee for the reason of being so cooperative and compassionate, maybe a little too cooperative and compassionate. What I would've done differently in this conference would be to speak up more with other countries. I was hard for me to talk because my country had no relevance to the topics. Something to make this project better for next year would be to organize the countries better and make all the countries involved.
Key Moment
Honestly speaking, I didn't like this project because I had no relevance to everyone else. It was my peer, Jakob, and I who were always left out. Our countries were El Salvador and Honduras which are located in Central America; while everyone else were located in Asia and Europe. Central America has no power so we couldn't be involved as much.
I remember a specific moment in the conference when finally people were starting to talk about the issues in Central America, then one random person came into our meeting and announced a whole new problem. Guess what happened next, it was about Greece and their refugees. Do you know where Greece is located? All the way on the other side of the world. Jakob and I then lost the attention and we had to stay silent again.
