Reflection
I've had a humanities class since I was in 6th grade in High Tech Middle Chula Vista. So I already had an idea of what to expect in humanities class, reading and writing. Since this is a project based learning school, we would be learning through projects; and that is a part I didn't know what to expect. But I came in willing to learn and try my best.
A moment when I felt like a writer, was when I would be sitting on my bed typing my draft for the Power Within project. I was so into my story, and I felt like it had to be told. This story describes who I am as a person, no one else can tell my story except me. So I had to put all my time and effort into creating the story that it is today, and I am honestly very proud of my work.
I have evolved as a writer by becoming emotionally honest. I learned to be open and let no secrets within myself. If you let a part of your story hidden, your story would seem unfinished or blocked off. So I made sure in this project to tell everything, no matter how enclosed I am with it.
