Week 3 Reflection

What I did to make my poem descriptive was to revise it and think if it was specific to my interviewee.
I learned that he is very interesting. He's not only very independent, but also super compassionate. He cooks for his grandpa and bikes to school. I've known him a little before, but now after the interviews I feel closer to him and know him a lot better.
The part of the revision that helped me the most was when we put our poems into a spreadsheet then commented on our lines to see if it was specific to our interviewee.  Next time I make a revision on one of my writing pieces, I will be specific and detailed in my writing so it can be clear to the reader and they'll also get a better vision.

I'm glad you found the self-critique helpful! I haven't tried that with students before, so I wasn't sure how it would work.
